I felt lost at 29 and thought I was the only one
Shared anonymously·August 25, 2026
What happened
I had the job, the apartment, the relationship. And I still felt like something invisible had gone wrong.
What I wish I knew
Feeling lost is often a signal that the story you had been telling yourself has run out. It is not a broken life. It is a chapter break.
What helped me
A therapist. Long walks without a podcast. Writing three pages every morning for a month.
What I would tell someone going through this now
You are not lost. You are between two stories. Give yourself permission to not know the next one yet.

A quiet reply
Have you been here too?
Your response tells someone they aren't alone. It isn't a like.
Someone else's experience just met you where you are.
Pass it forward
